Kentucky point guard Sahvir Wheeler was injured during an open practice at Rupp Arena Monday.
The extent of Wheeler's injury is unknown but the Georgia transfer hopped off the floor after what appeared to be a non-contact injury to his left ankle during a defensive slide drill.
Wheeler's injury is just the latest for the Wildcats, who have been dealing with a host of injuries this preseason. Iowa transfer CJ Fredrick, Jacob Toppin and Bryce Hopkins have all missed time with various ailments.
