The recruiting battle for one of the top basketball prospects in the country is heating up.
On Saturday, Buchtel senior Chris Livingston took to social media to announce his top four college choices: Tennessee State, Kentucky, Memphis and Georgetown.
Per 247sports' composite rankings, Livingston is rated as the No. 1 recruit in the state and the No. 5 recruit in the nation. In addition to the four schools in his top four, he's also received offers from Kansas, Akron, Florida, LSU, North Carolina, Ohio State and UAB.
The 6-foot-7, 210-pound small forward averaged 31.1 points, 15.8 rebounds, 6.5 assists, 4.7 steals and 4.3 blocks per game for the Griffins in the 2020-21 season. He led Buchtel to an 18-5 record during the 2020-21 season, and a Division II regional final appearance.
