When Kentucky and Notre Dame signed a three-year contract back in 2020, the plan has always been to find a neutral site for the 2022 game.
Well, it appears that John Calipari and Notre Dame head coach Mike Brey have started to narrow down some options for where that game will be held.
In an appearance on College Hoops Today with Jon Rothstein, Brey mentioned that him and Coach Cal have been talking through some potential cities to host the game.
“We’ve not decided on that. John Calipari and I were on the road this summer. We talked about (Madison Square) Garden. We’ve talked about Chicago and maybe even the Bay Area. The marketing group that kind of handles both of us is based out there, they’ve thrown that around, too. Nothing decided yet.”
