I live near Champaign Illinois and this morning was listening to a local sport talk show.
The reporter being interviewed is a well known sports figure in this area and generally known for getting his information right.
According to him, Antiquia to UK is far from a done deal. He is reporting Illinois is making an offer of 1 1/4 million to stay at Illinois. He says that would make him the highest paid assistant in college basketball. Orlando said he will make a final decision this weekend.
Sorry, I don’t have a link.

I cannot imagine any university paying an assistant coach $1.5M. That just doesn't sound plausible.
But, if so, good for Antigua!

Tip, 1 1/4. Still a Lot of money! I have no idea if it’s accurate but the reporter generally seems to be a straight shooter.

Well, we're losing Justice and Barbee, so just hire Antigua at both of their salaries. Two assistants should be enough.

Local sport talk show says it all - slanted toward ILL but in fact IF ky wants (or should say Cal) him back it is a done deal!
