It almost seems that Coach is grasping for straws as he has "reached out" to a number of players, most of whom couldn't play for Ky in recent years.
Is he desperate?

IF he isn't desperate after last season, I don't know what to say...

If many of these wants become reality he could build an almost new team. Wonder what the guys on the team are thinking about all this? Will there be more UK players go into the pool also? How about building a championship team out of the other teams defecting players? If so would the NCAA have second thoughts about their decision to allow all players one transfer in their college BB careers???

BC... the portal is a freaking zoo !!! So hope they don't do this again !!! Free agency in college basketball is not what I want and I am sure most if not all coaches want it.

Do we need another forward? I thought we were pretty set there. I think we need a couple more guards, but how about recruiting some hidden gems that can develop over a few years. Like what Baylor, Villanova have done

I may be wrong but the way I understood this moving from one team to another was a permanent thing, not something for just this year.

BC... that may be true but if I am not mistaken they can only do it once. If a coach leaves or health issues in a family I understand someone leaving with no penalty but if they don't like something and just want to leave then sit out a year. Make a commitment and stick to it.
