Kentucky is looking into the possibility of adding a non-conference game to the schedule this week, KSR has learned.
According to KSR’s Matt Jones, UK is exploring the possibility of replacing TAMU with a new opponent after the SEC officially decided to postpone the Wildcats’ game against the Aggies due to a combination of positive tests, contact tracing and subsequent quarantining of individuals within the Texas A&M program.
One possibility? Brad Calipari and the Detroit Mercy Titans.
“Hearing UK is looking at scheduling a game this week,” Jones reported. “I suspect it will be Detroit Mercy if possible.”

The only possible days would be this Tuesday or next Saturday with the remaining Detroit schedule. We play Florida on Saturday so that only leaves one date, this Tuesday to play Detroit. Don't think it will happen with them unless Cal decides to go ahead and play them on Tuesday.
