Oddsmakers are starting to believe in Kentucky’s SEC Tournament chances (at least more than they did last week).

With two straight wins and inconsistency throughout the league, the futures board has been updated to reflect Kentucky at 10-1 odds to win the upcoming conference tournament. At this time last week prior to UK’s two-game win streak, the Cats were listed at 22-1 to win the SEC’s automatic bid.

The new board and last week’s odds:

Current Last Week
Alabama +200 Alabama +180
Tennessee +325 Tennessee +300
Missouri +500 Missouri +350
Arkansas +500 Florida +450
LSU +550 LSU +700
Kentucky +1000 Kentucky +2200
Florida +1000 Arkansas +4500
Mississippi +3000 Ole Miss +5000
Mississippi State +8000 Mississippi State +8000
South Carolina +15000 South Carolina +12500
Georgia +20000 Georgia +15000
Texas A&M +30000 Texas A&M +30000
Vanderbilt +20000 Vanderbilt +50000
Kentucky also found some luck against the spread last night with the first cover of the closing line since January 23.

At -3.5, it did not come without drama.
