The Kentucky Wildcats lose yet another game, this time on a road trip to Columbia, Missouri to drop their fifth conference game.

It was a pretty brutal game, again, offensively for the Wildcats, as they struggled to even score a basket, and faltered late in a close game down the stretch.

Kentucky just does not have a bucket-getter like they have had in the past, and it shows, plain and simple. They have no one to consistently rely, or multiple people to rely on.

It’s a clustered offense and a clustered roster and no true rotation. John Calipari has struggled this season with finding a rotation that he likes more than he has with any UK team, but that mostly falls on how the roster is constructed, as only few players he has on the roster fit the style of play that he would like to run.

But also, Kentucky and Calipari play an out-dated style of ball that features back-to-the-basket basketball, which is no longer the fad in the game of basketball.

With this loss, any hope of an NCAA Tournament at-large bid is over. if it wasn’t before, but a serious change will be needed by Calipari by the time next season starts. The only hope this team has is to make a miracle run through the SEC Tournament, if conference tourneys are even played amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
