The Kentucky Wildcats experienced arguably their worst loss of the season in a 63-62 defeat at Georgia, as the Bulldogs snapped a 14-game winning streak in the series. Georgia forward P.J. Horne scored off an in-bounds play with 1.3 seconds left to finish off a 7-0 run to defeat John Calipari's Wildcats.

Kentucky took a 62-56 lead after Isaiah Jackson knocked down a shot in the lane. The Wildcats would not score again as bad possessions mounted on the offensive end. Georgia battled back and finished off the Wildcats on the Horne layup.

Had Kentucky won, it would've been rather fortunate. The Wildcats turned the ball over 17 times, allowed 15 offensive rebounds and shot 1 of 13 from 3-point range. Kentucky shot 43 percent from the floor compared to 39 percent for Georgia. The Bulldogs were led by 16 points from senior guard Andrew Garcia.

Shooting percentage doesn't tell the whole story.
15 offensive rebounds plus 17 turnovers means a lot of extra shots for Georgia.

Like the article pointed out, "Had Kentucky won, it would've been rather fortunate. The Wildcats turned the ball over 17 times, allowed 15 offensive rebounds and shot 1 of 13 from 3-point range".

The team that shoots a lower fg% and number of FT's seldom wins the ball game!

Just another way that this years team can prove to us there's more than 1 way to lose a game!
