Las Vegas has spoken. Despite Kentucky’s struggles to win or cover a spread, they’re still giving Saturday’s opponent a few points.

The final folks at Circa Sports were the first to release a line for the Saturday night showdown at Rupp Arena between Kentucky and LSU. The Wildcats open as 2-point favorites over the Tigers. Elsewhere the line is already down to UK -1.5. The total has been set at 144.5.

Kentucky is just 4-8-1 against the spread this season, failing to cover in each of the previous three games, all of which were outright losses. Meanwhile, LSU covered in five of their previous six before Alabama took them behind the woodshed for a 30-point beating Tuesday night.

I'm afraid I would take LSU straight up. Unless Cal can get these guys to make their shots they won't win another game.

I don't know how anyone would have us favored to win. We are NOT good. We are an over-hyped, underachieving, inexperienced, college basketball team. Hope something changes, but I just don't see it happening this year. I would like to enjoy watching us play, even if it was a loss. I just want to see some good basketball, and better coaching.
