Isaiah Jackson has lived up to his preseason hype of being an energetic, athletic forward who can make a big difference on the defensive end and in the post. The only issue with his start to the season is those flashes of brilliance have been far and in between.
Jackson has had his minutes limited multiple times due to his unhealthy habit of getting into foul trouble. Jackson has battled the problem in five of Kentucky’s seven games and has fouled out of each of the last two contests.
“I was reading an article the other day and it said most of my fouls are when my hands are down and not really blocking shots,” Jackson said. “I feel like if I just keep my hands active, like actively moving around, I feel like those cheap fouls won’t be called or anything.”
