So, who had Kentucky going 1-6 in non-conference play on their 2020 Bingo card? That is certainly not something I expected to ever see at the University of Kentucky, but especially not with this much-hyped team.

The ‘Cats were supposed to play South Carolina on Tuesday night to begin their Southeastern Conference schedule. However, that game has been postponed due to Coronavirus concerns on the Gamecocks side. Kentucky has been scrambling to try and add a non-conference game for Tuesday or Wednesday, but negotiations with Bellarmine and Hartford seem to have fallen through.

Without a game on Tuesday, there will be another full week between games for the Wildcats before playing Mississippi State on Saturday. We are still a couple of weeks away from getting Keion Brooks it sounds like, but extra practice time certainly isn’t a bad thing for this team right now. Maybe one last iteration of Camp Cal will be what gets the Wildcats to turn the corner heading into SEC play?
