With much uncertainty about who will be apart of Kentucky’s two upcoming recruiting classes, two UK targets that were once seen as sure-fire locks to UK are now being projected to land somewhere other than Lexington.
Today, Corey Evans from Rivals changed his pick for Skyy Clark from the Kentucky Wildcats to the North Carolina Tar Heels. This comes after Clark had a Zoom meeting with Roy Williams and the Tar Heels staff. It could also mean that Kentucky’s pursuit of 2021 guard Hunter Sallis is picking up, and Sallis could very well end up in Lexington with current Kentucky pledge Nolan Hickman.

I am not easy with the way a lot of our recruits are trending away from us. Is the money flowing elsewhere? Are these other coaches talking better to them than Cal? What promises? Are they leaving us because of who is signing with us? It sure seems like Cal is lately having a good year and then a couple slow years. I know you can't get them all but something is happening when so many are just about UK locks and then they go somewhere else.???

Maybe because Kenny Payne departed.

I think Evans changed his crytal ball as click bait, because he says somewhere else that uk still leads in the recruitment of Clark.
