Anthony Davis and Rajon Rondo lead the championship-favorite Lakers.

The Kentucky Wildcats had more players on the NBA opening-day rosters than any other school to start this season. So to no surprise, the Wildcats lead the way with 13 former players in the 2020 NBA Playoffs, which are as follows:

Boston Celtics (1) – Enes Kanter
Dallas Mavericks (1) – Michael Kidd-Gilchrist
Denver Nuggets (1) – Jamal Murray
LA Clippers (1) – Patrick Patterson
LA Lakers (2) – Anthony Davis, Rajon Rondo
Miami Heat (2) – Bam Adebayo, Tyler Herro
Milwaukee Bucks (1) – Eric Bledsoe
OKC Thunder (3) – Hamidou Diallo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nerlens Noel
Portland Trail Blazers (1) – Wenyen Gabriel
Of the 13 Wildcats on NBA restart rosters, UK head coach John Calipari has coached 12 of them.

The playoffs begin today with four games, including Jamal Murray and the Nuggets taking on the Utah Jazz at 1:30 pm on ESPN. All games will be televised by ABC, ESPN, TNT or NBATV.

Also in action today are Enes Kanter and the Celtics taking on the 76ers at 6:30 pm, while Patrick Patterson and the Clippers take on Michael Kidd-Gilchrist and the Mavericks at 9 pm. It’s worth noting that Willie Cauley-Stein helped the Mavericks to the playoffs but opted out of the NBA restart because of the birth of a child.

Rondo, a four-time NBA All-Star, had led the league in assists per game three times (2012, 2013, and 2016). He was named to the All-NBA Third Team in 2011–12 and has earned four NBA All-Defensive Team honors, twice on the First Team (2009–10 and 2010–11).

Gabriel started for Portland tonight. Not bad for a guy that was as not drafted. I think it was because of an injury, but still.

I also watched Bam and Tyler this afternoon.

Presently watching AD.

Once again, I prove I don’t have much of a life. Starved for sports when I watch the NBA
