The Kentucky men's basketball team began arriving on campus in Lexington Sunday.
The team will undergo an initial screening process with a return to activity planned for later this week.
After losing all five of its starters to the NBA Draft and eight of its top nine scorers from a season ago, the Wildcats welcome a total of 10 newcomers to its 2020-21 roster, which includes its first No. 1 recruiting class since 2015 and a trio of high-profile transfers.
During his weekly "Coffee With Cal" Facebook Live series featuring Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin last month, UK head coach John Calipari explained the logistics of what that would look like.
"The protocol would be the medical stuff for three days before we do anything, conditioning without any of us coaches for two weeks," Calipari said.
Calipari says the Joe Craft Practice Facility and the Wildcat Coal Lodge, which houses the players, should provide a nice bubble for the players to remain somewhat isolated.
