One of Kentucky basketball’s biggest targets in the class of 2022 looked the part in his time on the floor against college and NBA talent on Saturday afternoon.
In an open run in Brentwood, TN playing with and against the likes of Darius Garland of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Robert Covington of the Houston Rockets, former Golden State Warriors guard Ian Clark, and former UK forward Alex Poythress, among numerous other high-major Division I standouts, the five-star prospect was one of the best players on the floor.
Showing off a tight handle and advanced dribble moves, strong defense, and elite finishes at the room, Clark proved why Kentucky sees the 6-foot-2 guard as one of their top future recruiting targets.
Kentucky has not yet offered a scholarship, but the UK coaching staff is expected to do so this summer once they are allowed to contact 2022 student-athletes directly starting on Monday.
And when that offer ultimately comes, UK is expected to be in serious contention to land the five-star guard’s commitment.
