With DeAndre Williams choosing the Memphis Tigers over the Kentucky Wildcats yesterday and with Makur Maker seemingly favoring the UCLA Bruins if he chooses to go to college, it appears as if Kentucky’s roster is set.
Which is fine with me. Olivier Sarr, Keion Brooks, Lance Ware, and Isaiah Jackson are enough for the front court and the guard/wing spot are loaded with talent. Adding Williams would have been a good insurance policy but I doubt he would have been more than the eighth or ninth man off of the bench.
As long as Sarr is eligible, and I think there is a very good chance of that, then Kentucky will be ready to roll whenever practice can begin.

I don't know how Sarr is going to be eligible next season. Last I read the NCAA board was against it. I just don't see it happening .

You never know with the ncaa … several kids were not given the waiver at unlv and other schools while others were at other schools. Need to pass a rule that says you can or you can't not this arbitrary stuff they have going on now.

I also think we have what we gonna have. I just don't see anyone left on the horizon except maybe a couple of guys moving from 21 to 20 class. But I don't really have any hope we would get one of them. The biggest thing I see is still the possibility their will be no fans allowed in. Same for football games. TV viewing only. I'm not too hot on our governor anymore either. He tells us how good we are doing but we still get increasing numbers of Covid cases in KY. But we are testing more people and more people test negative so that brings the % of positives down. To me that's like looking in the back door to see who's coming in the front door. I just don't have a good feeling about FB or BB being played in front of fans.
