Calipari search for another big man for his 2019-20 roster goes on.

Purdue graduate transfer Matt Haarms committed to BYU, coached by former Wildcat Mark Pope, on Thursday over Kentucky and Texas Tech.

The 7-foot-3 forward averaged 8.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 20.5 minutes per game at Purdue. Haarms ranks fourth on Purdue's career shot blocks list with 210.

While Haarms was not a dominant post presence at Purdue, he would have been a much-needed addition to a Kentucky program needing to replace eight of the nine players who scored a point last season.

Now Calipari must look for other options in order to find help for freshmen Isaiah Jackson and Lance Ware in the front court.

Well it looks like I missed on this one. I think something came up in the last week that changed his direction.
