Could Kentucky get one more season out of graduate transfer Nate Sestina?
If the NCAA allows for it, the 6-foot-9 forward out of Emporium, PA has told the Kentucky coaching staff that he will take them up on the opportunity.
During this evening’s John Calipari call-in radio show, the UK head coach was asked about his team’s response to the NCAA’s decision to cancel postseason play due to the coronavirus outbreak and the days since.
While he is still going through his respective conversations with individual players on the team, Sestina has already told the UK head coach that he was returning to Kentucky if the NCAA grants an additional year of eligibility for seniors who missed tournament play this season.
“If they let seniors play, I’m coming back,” Sestina said, via Calipari. “I want another year of this.”

Wow. As Cal points out, there are all sorts of ramifications of doing that.
I would doubt that it happens.
