Offense Kentucky scored 71 points in 59 possessions while putting up 1.20 points per trip. This was the least amount of possessions UK has had in a game this season and it was one of the most efficient outings of the season. The Wildcats scored 41 points in the second half and Nick Richards was a big reason why.
After a very, very sluggish start that saw the junior finish with the first half with just two points on 1 of 7 shooting, the eventual All-SEC selection went for 17 points in the second half on 7 of 11 shooting. He chipped in four offensive rebounds and was a steadying force as UK marched down the comeback trail. He had a big game, but it wasn’t the story of the game. That would be what Keion Brooks Jr. put together.
The true freshman played a career-high 27 minutes while scoring 10 points on 4 of 5 shooting. He hit both of his three-point attempts and got the call from Calipari on the final possession on a post up. He was unable to get the bucket to fall, but the action led to the winning putback by EJ Montgomery.

I'm worried about Nick Richards. I think the only reason he had such a good second half was because Blackshear was out with an injury. When he plays a physical Big man, he's not very good.
