ESPN just played the UL/FSU game from 1989. It was awesome! Some things of note:
* There was a 45-second shot clock. * Pervis Ellison blocked a shot and the shot clock reset. * UL hit a 3-pointer with 2 seconds left and the clock didn't stop. It hit 0 before they could inbound the ball. * A defender wasn't truly set but the refs still called a charge because the offensive guy initiated the contact.
I wish basketball was still played like this!
