We're still nowhere near being a good team. I know - it's early.
I cannot stand the defense that Cal teaches. His teams give up so many wide open shots. Cal is good at getting rim protectors, but as far as perimeter defense, we better hope the good teams we play aren't hitting from the outside.

We are getting better, got to give Cal and the coaching staff credit as you can see the team improving.

I do agree with Paul we don't get out on the shooters quick enough. I'am sure Cal realizes this and will address this and we will see improvement against VMI.

Guys, that is the way the game is played today. Good spacing and a few quick passes gives open looks from the arc anytime you want one. Defenses have to choose what they will focus on, and Cal focuses on forcing them to take a difficult shot. Statistically, he is right, but there will always be nights when the other team is en fuego and drops a ton of 3s on us.

For anybody else who does not have a clue what the definition of en fuego is.
Literally 'on fire' in spanish. A term applied to a hot girl/guy meaning that they are tappable. A term applied to someone owning another person or doing something amazing. Man! Did you see that chick?
