I never thought I would say that, but wow; what an embarrassment last night. Talk about a complete let down by a team. I really thought last night was going to be one of the best games ever, and I was looking forward to seeing some great basketball. I was not going to be surprised if we lost, but I never expected to get blown out by 34 points. We got a long way to go before we can even think about a championship, let alone a elite 8, or anything else. Hope this is a kick in the pants that wakes these guys up.

The dribble drive is only effective with excellent guard play and we don’t have that with any of our PG’s. There is no Fox or SGA on this team. This has the potential of being a very disappointing season if guard play and defense don’t improve drastically. We played zero defense last night and our energy and effort were abysmal. Hopefully, this will be one of those embarrassing losses that kicks these guys into gear. We’ll find out soon enough. Go Big Blue!!!
