Who do you all think made the worst decision of leaving early under Calipari? My vote goes to Dakari Johnson. He was drafted in the second round and has bounced around the D-League and sniffed the NBA just a little bit. But I think if he would've stayed one more year he would've averaged 15 points and possibly double-digit rebounds. Skal would've been his backup, and Dakari almost certainly would've been drafted in the first round and got the guaranteed money. Dakari has a lot of talent - I think he should've stayed just one more year.

No doubt in my mind it was Aaron Harrison. He should have entered the draft after his Freshmen year after his tournament performances (greatest clutch shooting over a three game span in NCAA Tourney history in my mind). That had propelled him into the late first round potentially.
He came back to school only to go undrafted if I remember correctly.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Daniel Orton didn't make a very good decision either.

Dakari, for sure. I believe he should have stayed his whole four years, and got his degree. I didn't think he was good enough to play at UK, much less the NBA. I feel the same way about Nick Richard's. Just because you're tall don't mean you have basketball skills. I'm small and can ride a horse, but I have no illusions of being a jockey.

I hope Richards surprises us. Big man offensive skills can be taught (mainly footwork), strength gained, and 'bad hands' improved. It is easier to develop a decent big man out of a raw player than it is to develop a decent point guard, for example.
But I agree that Dakari and Orton should have stayed longer, and Aaron Harrison should have gone earlier. I don't think Teague was ever NBA material, and Lamb was going to be a role-player anywhere he went. But this is all 20-20 hindsight. It is much harder to make the right decision without such information.

Two more that were just tall......that's all were Orbzut and Shagari Alleyne 7-3. Not really BB players.
