Maybe I am in the minority, but I would rather have a young guy who is an up and comer than an older guy who got fired at a bigger name school for that sport.

I just read on ESPN that he is interviewing with Ga today and is also under consideration for the Pitt job recently vacated when they fired Kevin Stallings. They are just recycling these losing coaches.

He goes to better school and his record gets worse.
Hoops is different than football in that one recruiting class can make or break a season.
I blame the ADs What in the hell do they get paid for?
UK's AD didnt impress me until he finally made the renovations happen for football, He had on of the top 3 basketball jobs and he got Billy Clyde......at least he had the sense to get help and the former UK player told him Cal was the only man for the job......I give himm credit for having the sense to listen to him.
I am not happy with the football contnract. He has built in extensions that were fine for when the facilities were crap and the leftovers from the Joker years.....but now, he should get away from it and have it based on higher expectations.
