Not totally sure if we have "turned the season around", but it was another well played game by most everyone.

Maybe you guys in Kentucky know more but what is going on with SKJ? He looked so down/unhappy last night, especially when Cal walked by him on the bench and went for his son to get in the game. Is he in the doghouse or just Cal's style not to play those who don't produce?

The two announcers talked about everything but the actual game.....it was one of the worst I have heard. Wish I could get the local audio up here.

I think Nick Richards is the guy that was frowning the most and I can't figure out why he starts.
Of all the tall kids, I think Richards is a long shot to make it to the league.

I do think that Sacha will get there eventually, at least he can shoot. I think he will be a star, eventually for UK and a long term NBA talent. I like Sasha and think he should get more PT than Richards.

I hope he stays at Uk but I fear Sacha will transfer out after this season is over and can't say that I would blame him for that. He just does not seem to fit into Cal's rotation, no matter how hard he tries. I like the kid, think he could contribute more but Cal will just not give him the minutes to prove himself. I agree about Richards, he is just not a basketball player and from what I have seen of his ability and basketball IQ, I recommend that he get himself a good education while at UK.

Richard's is my least favorite player since dakari Johnson he has hands of stone. SKJ should get more playing time imo. I'm really happy diallo finally had a good game.

I think SCWC may be right about SKJ. If you're not in Cal's rotation after your sophomore year, you're probably not going to ever get there due to being recruited over. There's been a few exceptions like Miller, Harrellson and Willis, but they all provided something Cal needed at the time. Unfortunately SKJ just hasn't shown a high enough upside. To his defense, it seems Cal pulls him out every time he does anything wrong as opposed to some of Cal's favorites. SKJ should be playing ahead of Richards. IMO.

The problem here is that Cal isn't really recruiting over SKJ. Richards is a freshman playing like a freshman, and we don't have anyone better coming in next year. There is opportunity for SKJ to be getting minutes. Not sure why this isn't happening.

We keep overlooking the fact that most of the kids Cal is getting are not his #1 picks. He is trying to get the best kids left afrter K gets the top ones. Richards is not Cal's best pick. Duke has Cal's top big man for 2 seasons in a row. We don't even have a big man in next years class yet. Montgomery didn't even get an offer from Cal until he was the last man standing. Now that ONeal has dropped AZ we may have an outside chance for him. Two of the recruits he has Signed for next year are really after thoughts because we didn't get the ones he wanted. I think we're doing pretty good for who we have on the team.
