Johnson (6-6, 216), who is ranked 14th overall and the No. 2 shooting guard in the 2018 class by the 247Sports Composite, will commit and sign with either Kentucky, Maryland, N.C. State or Texas.
"It's been really tough. You really get close to the coaches because you spend so much time with them that you wish you had a kid to go to every school," Keldon's father, Chris Johnson told 247Sports. "The good thing and the bad thing is he could go to all four schools and be happy."
Johnson finished with 27 points and nine rebounds in Oak Hill's 91-45 victory Wednesday night.
It's going to be a busy week for Kentucky as top 5-star point guard commit Immanuel Quickley will sign his national letter of intent Thursday, top-ranked prospect R.J. Barrett will announce Friday and Johnson Saturday as the Wildcats host 4-star shooting guard Tyler Herro for an official visit this weekend.
Going into Saturday's announcement, Kentucky is the favorite according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, logging eight of the 13 predictions, including each of the last six.

I feel fairly confident we land him. Only other team that concerns me is the late push that Texas is putting on him. In the end, I think he ends up in Lexington.

It would be great to get him as you can't have enough good shooters.
