Kentucky again has an edge over Louisville in the USA TODAY Coaches Poll released Thursday ahead of the college basketball season.
The Wildcats are No. 4 in the preseason poll, and the Cardinals are No. 16. Last year, after reaching the Elite Eight, Kentucky finished fifth in the same poll, while Louisville was 14th in the postseason poll after a second-round loss.
Louisville opens the season Nov. 10 against George Mason at the KFC Yum Center, while Kentucky tips off against Utah Valley at Rupp Arena.

Based on talent, I think they are deserving of a #4 pre-season ranking. However, they are too young and nowhere near the team they will be come March.

#4 sounds about right to me, with the talent we have. If this team is unselfish the sky's the limit.
