I just filled out my brackets and every time I saw the name Kentucky I picked them.

If Kentucky loses, I quit watching the tournament. I won't win a pick em bracket, because I won't pick against my team.

Me as well. I use to watch but the college game is so poorly played and officiated now that t don't watch any college game that doesn't involve UK and i10 years ago I probably watched 12 to 15 games per week.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

And they were ranked 14th just about a week ago. If they don't win it, it's not the NCAA's fault!

I filled out my bracket today and had a certain #2 seed with a wildcat mascot winning it all. Problem is, they're from the Pac-12.
I just don't see us playing consistent ball for six straight games.

If we beat UCLA (provided we get there) I could see us coming out of our bracket. I just think Nova and puke have a cakewalk to the elite 8 and the winner of that game, sadly, is pretty likely to win it all.

What is amazing is of all the news media analyst, local news, radio shows etc. not only they are not picking Kentucky to do anything but they're not even mentioning Kentucky. You would thing Kentucky isn't in the tournament. My gosh, we are not that bad! I guess this can be great motivation for our team! I'm picking Kentucky

They are the #5 seed in the tourney. I guess their inconsistency has caused people to shy away from them. I'm expecting their 8-1 odds to get larger before they play. Not sure if I'm going to play any pool this year. I just can't get real excited about picking.

That is some good money but I'm afraid of a train wreck on the way to the station.

Maybe this year will be a repeat of the 1998 team. We were a 2 seed that year and most people didn't think we would win it all. [ 03-14-2017, 11:46 AM: Message edited by: blue hoot ]

Anything can happen. The main factor on who wins is the shooting percentage. Of course the percentage can be affected by the number of shots you get off in 40 minutes. If we play the way we like, fast, we will get off more shots than anyone we play. That could be good or bad depending on...............the percentage we make. If we can have a large affect on the number of shots the opponent gets off and our defense bothers them enough so that their percentage is bad we can win 6 games. Seems very simple to me.
