Box Score

Some interesting stats from the game:
Kentucky had a season-high 17 turnovers to only 10 assists
Kentucky only had two steals, a season low
Kentucky only had 2 fast break points
Missouri kept it close by shooting only 37%, 18% from the three.
Briscoe had a game high 6 turnovers.

Bam had a great game, but the rest of the team? Not so much.

Briscoe fouled out two games in a row now, and is a turnover machine. Maybe coach needs to sit him for a while until he gets his head straight.

Willis and Hawkins went from solid to sordid between the Georgia game and this one. Between them, we got six points, six fouls, and one rebound in 35 minutes of play. Yes, I know it is all about matchups, but rebounding and defending without fouling are up to the individual player, regardless of matchup.

Ah well. We won. But my confidence in this team to have the ability to get deep into the tournament is fading. I hope these guys can see the light and begin to fire on all cylinders, but time is running out.

Our subs, Willis, Hawkins, Mulder and Humphries played a combined 50 minutes and scored 4 baskets and 4 rebounds.

Just hoping this team could be like the 13-14 team. Struggle during the seasosn, show flashes of greatness, play bad at the end of the season, show strong in SEC tourney, go in with a lower seed (they were an 8), and then get hot and go all the way to the final. It could happen, and Monk could be our Harrison and hit some game winners along the way.

Briscoe leads the team in turn/overs (2.8 per game) but does play the second most minutes and handles the ball a lot.
