Pittsburgh putting it on Duke pretty good. If this score holds and Duke loses by double digits, they'll only move up a couple of spots in the polls.

Norm, this Duke Pitt game is almost as much fun to watch as it is to see the cats win a good game. I get a lot of enjoyment out of seeing Ratface's team lose a game and they are getting hammered.

Another big upset was Seton Hall beating up on Xavier. This is a wide open year for winning it all, just wish we had a Karl Towns to play down low and score points for us, with Ulis and Murray they could win it all this season.

The problem with our Cats is lack of an inside game, no NBA caliber front line players for the first year in a long time under Cal.

No doubt, really UK probably would not even need someone at KAT's level, Dakari Johnson would be sufficient.

I have the game from yesterday DVR'ed, but based on what I have read here there is no need to watch it.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Trey, we were actually ahead by three at the half time. The last ten minutes of the game is a total nightmare. Some very poor decision making on the part of Ulis, Murray and Briscoe down the stretch really hurt. Cal was a little upset about Briscoe taking three three point shots in the game, said that is not his game and as we all know, it is not his game.

Yeah it sounds like they really struggled those last 10 minutes. I was reading something that even showed three empty possessions in a row only down 6 with under 5 minutes or so to play. I think was something like Lee missed a layup, Ulis missed a layup, and then Murray and Ulis passed up open shots and Briscoe shot a three.

Sounds like a clunker of a half.

Yep, that is what happened. I watched the last ten minutes again today, had to punish myself. Good decisions could have made it much closer than the final score. We were down by only six with the ball when those back to back to back posessions occurred. Briscoe is not the person you want taking three point shots and they did not even go near him when he was behind the three point line. Take the drive away from Briscoe and he is no scoring threat. Shooting 10 for 23 from the free throw line does not help either and four of those misses were Briscoe, four by Lee and two by Ulis who rarely ever misses.

Sounds like a duplicate of the 1984 semi tourney game against Georgetown when we played the complete 2nd half like that. I'm sorry to say that Briscoe will probably go in the draft and won't be drafted. He just has no shot except for a baseline drive with a reverse layup. Shame with his defense he has no shot to go with it.

It was only a matter of time for us to have a bad shooting night. This game was an easy one to predict a loss. The recipe to beat us is a team who likes to play physical, get the ball down low and slow the game down. I'd zone our Cats but more of a box and one on Murray or triangle and two on Murray/Ulis.
It's easy to see if we win each night by checking boxscore of Ulis/Murray. This team can beat anyone but they can also lose to anyone as well. Gonna be a rollercoaster tournament and I'll give you a million dollars if you can pick a perfect bracket!
