He is a busy man for sure!
Calipari spent Friday and Saturday in Chicago at the Nike Global Challenge, a showcase that featured four American all-star teams consisting of players from the Nike traveling circuit, as well as four international squads.
Malik Monk — a top UK target in the class of 2016 — led his team to the championship, averaging 21.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.0 assists while also making 12 of 26 three-point attempts (46.1 percent) over four games.
The Global Challenge also featured five-star small forward Miles Bridges, who made the all-tournament team and had the highlight of the week in Saturday's game — catching a pass off the backboard during a fast break and throwing it down with a windmill dunk.
Bridges also has emerged as one of UK's top targets in the class of 2016.
Calipari started the week at the Under Armour event in Atlanta, where he watched class of 2016 standouts Markelle Fultz and Sacha Killeya-Jones, among others.
