Canada has been good to us.
Jamaal Magloire (Toronto, Ontario)
Played for Kentucky from 1996-2000, where he averaged 7.3 points and 5.4 rebounds per game in four years
Played in 145 games and scored a total of 1064 points; scored a career-high of 23 points twice against Vanderbilt and South Carolina in 2000
Spent 12 years in the NBA; played for the Charlotte Hornets, New Orleans Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, Portland Trailblazers, Dallas Mavericks, New Jersey Nets, Miami Heat and the Toronto Raptors
Bernard Cote (St. Lambert, Quebec)
Played for Kentucky from 2002-2004 before transferring to Northwestern following his sophomore season
In 52 total games played, Cote scored a total of 60 points, averaging 1.1 points per game; scored a career-high of seven points against Vanderbilt in 2004
In his one season at Northwester, he averaged 4.2 points and 2.3 rebounds per game
Sheray Thomas (Montreal, Quebec)
Played for Kentucky from 2003-2007, where he averaged 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in four years
Played in 117 games and scored a total of 308 points; Thomas scored a career-high of 13 points against Georgia in 2006
Played in Canadian NBL for the St. John Mill Rats and the Montreal Jazz
Kyle Wiltjer
Wiltjer was actually born in Portland, Ore., but has dual citizenship because his father is Canadian and played for the Canadian national team in the 1984 Olympics; Wiltjer has committed to play for Canada at the international level
Played for Kentucky from 2011-2013 before transferring to Gonzaga following his sophomore season; won a national championship in 2012 and was named SEC Sixth Man of the Year in 2013
Played in a total of 73 games where he scored a total of 535 points, where he averaged 7.3 points per game in two seasons; scored a career-high of 26 points against Ole Miss in 2013
Trey Lyles (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan)
In one season at Kentucky, Lyles played in a total of 36 games (started 21 of those games), where he scored 313 points, averaging 8.7 per game
Scored in double figures in 13 of 36 games, including eight of the seasons final 14 games; recorded two double-doubles on the year
Was named SEC Freshman of the Week twice and was to the 2015 All-SEC Freshman team; Lyles was selected 12th overall to the Utah Jazz in the 2015 NBA Draft
Mychal Mulder (Windsor, Ontario)
A JUCO transfer from Vincennes State chose to play at Kentucky over Indiana, Wichita State and Creighton; will have two years of eligibility left at Kentucky
Mulder averaged 15.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game during his sophomore season, while shooting 46.3% behind the three-point line.

Jamal Murray is our newest Canadian and from all indications he is going to be special too. He was Born February 23, 1997 (age 18), Kitchener, Canada and looks to be a consensus top ten recruit.
It is said he is regarded as a future first-round NBA draft pick due to his versatility and the ability to protect and handle the basketball which is a good sign.
