Cal has helped a lot of players make it to the NBA and it doesn't go unnoticed.
NBA Draft Insider Chad Ford told ESPN's Ryan Russillo on a Grantland Sports Podcast that he would recommend sending players to Kentucky coach John Calipari if they had NBA aspirations.
"If I had a kid, who was a good basketball player, who could make his team, I'd send him to John Calipari because he prepares these kids for the pros," Ford said.
"He did Karl-Anthony Towns a huge favor by telling him, 'don't play on the perimeter, I'm going to teach you how to play in the post. I'm going to live through it.' He did a great thing with Willie Cauley-Stein. I think he did great stuff with Devin Booker."
