Sitting here in memorial waiting fot the awards to start. Very poor signal in here.

They were late getting started and it started out like I had made a mistake by coming here. But once it got going it was pretty good. Towns won rookie of the year which was in all sports. Willie got comeback athlete of the year. Cal won coach of the year and the basketball team won team of the year. I believe Towns also won game of the year in all sports. Lee can really talk on stage. He was part of a group of about 15 students who were put together to come up with the creed and purpose of a UK athlete. He made a call using facetime to a female student athlete who is undergoing treatment for cancer that they discovered because she had an accident. This thing looked to be open to anyone who decided they wanted to attend because they didn't even ask to see a ticket. The athletes and students were on the floor and anyone who came to just watch it was in the stands. I'm guessing there may have been almost 50 people there to watch it.

Here is some info on the UK Catspy awards. It sets Kentucky apart from other universities. There is also a video of this years high-lights that Bama attended. Like Bama pointed it out it shows what a special young man really is.
The CATSPY Awards were introduced at UK in 2003, when athletics director Mitch Barnhart shared his desire to celebrate and honor the academic, athletic and community excellence achieved by all UK student-athletes. It was emulated from the well-known ESPY Awards. This annual event has become the highlight and finale of each academic year and features student-athletes from all 22 sports.

UK Athletics presented 36 honors at the 13th annual CATSPY Awards, held Monday in Memorial Coliseum to recognize athletic and academic performances during the 2014-15 year. With co-winners in some categories, a total of six teams and 26 individuals were recognized.
“This is always one of my favorite nights of the year,” UK Athletics Director Mitch Barnhart said. “Seeing a group of student-athletes and coaches I care so much about and respect so deeply come together to celebrate everything we’ve achieved is an amazing thing. I want to congratulate tonight’s winners and nominees. You truly represent the best of UK Athletics and you’ve given us so much to cheer for.”
