Briscoe got the ball to Diallo for some easy buckets that helped him get the player of the game award.

Easily the most dominant player on the court, Diallo added the East team MVP award to the MVP he won earlier at the McDonald's All-American game in Chicago. "My first time here, I was struggling a lot," said Diallo, who has played basketball only five years and has been in the United States since 2012. "But I think I'm good now.

"I'm so excited because the MVP award is a different thing. I always thank my teammates because they are passing me the ball. Thank you [Isaiah] Briscoe. Briscoe gave me a lot of buckets."

Briscoe playing with Labissiere and the rest of the Cats is going to be fun to watch and this team will be remembered for their team play. They all are players that share the ball and none of them have big ego's.

Our hope is that he will want to play with Briscoe so he can continue to get those nice passes for easy baskets.

With Briscoe AND Ulis, there should be a lot of assists next year. It's going to be fun again (I hope)!

There is no doubt about it, next seasons team is going to be fun to watch. It "may" take them a awhile to get used to each other but once they do they are going to be another special Kentucky team.

We know our newcomers are highly talented and also know what Ulis is capable of. If Poythress comes back and Lee gets some offense to his game, we could be a fun team to watch. Skal reminds me a lot of Anthony Davis, similar type skills and a true rim protector. Briscoe and Ulis together will make a real strong backcourt. I just hope we can snag one or two more players for depth purposes. It would be nice to see Willis and Hawkins pick up their games during the offseason so they can be major contributors next season.

I hope so too. There were some comments made some time ago about just wait till they get to their junior year. Well it's time for Hawkins, Willis and Lee to make their move.

Ray, this teams upside is extremely high and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this team doesn't make a run come tournament time. We have size, shooters and a team that could be a defensive juggernaut come tournament time. Our fans better not sell this team short because they are going to be a force to be reckoned with and real soon!

I actually think Matthews is going to be a much better force than he has been projected to be. I was very impressed with his minutes in the Jordan Brand game and he was playing with an injury. He appears to be a highly capable offensive player who enjoys playing defense. Maybe we will have a perimeter lock down defender in him to go along with all the other talent we feel we are going to have. I am already waiting for Midnight Madness next year, that past season is history, a really fun season, one we truly should have won it all in but as we all know, the best team does not always win the National Championship. Still, Kentucky basketball was back on top, where it belongs and hopefully we will see our program stay there for many years to come. One of the great points of being a Cat fan is looking ahead and getting excited about each upcoming season.

Matthews is a quality reserve and along with Willis, and Hawkins we have a decent start. We all know that Cal is going to at least pick up another 2 or 3 more quality players so by game time next season we will have a solid bench to go along with our starters.

In order for our boys to log a lot of assists we're going to have to have someone score!

I like the enthusiasum sp but I'm not going to feel good until we get a couple more quality players. Right now we have the makings of a team that can compete for the SEC crown. But we may need a few more links to get near the final four. That is the real facts.

Ray, you never know about college basketball, for instance last year we don't even make it to the finals with arguably the best talent we have ever had. The previous year we go all the way to the "finals" and almost winning with a team not even near as talented. That's just the way it is and who knows the 2015-2016 team is looking better by the day. There is no doubt we are getting some awfully good recruits and definitely will have another chance to win number nine!
