Well I generally don't believe in them, but I did use one last night. As UK was trailing during the last 10 minutes I posted things like well it is over etc. I didn't really believe it though, but I felt as though I needed to do it because I did that during the LSU and UGA games and UK came back to win!! So I felt in needed to do that again to pull my weight! LOL.
For some reason I was actually very calm last night. I had a feeling these kids were going to find a way. When Aaron rose up to shoot that long 3.......I knew it was going in.
I will admit when Grant answered with his that a little doubt did enter my mind at that time.
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Trey, you are just like me, every bad play or every good play grabs your attention and we have to comment on them. That is why I have just quit posting during games, it makes me sound so negative and I am everything but that. Like you. I truly felt our Cats would win, even when we were six points down late and of course we did. That is what being a Kentucky basketball fan is all about, we live with our emotions during the game on our sleeves. I have done it for years and am sure I will never change. That merely tells me you are truly following the game, know the game and are posting what you see happening at the time. No apologies needed for that, that is the way knowledgable basketball fans are in real life, they love their team and hope for excellence during games. It was good to get a win against a very good Notre Dame team last night when our defense was less than stellar. It was obvious our goal was to not let them beat us on the three point shot and we did stop that pretty much but it left us open to dribble drive. I have not seen an opponent make so many lay up type baskets against us as Notre Dame did last night. Great win for our team, shows that they can pull a game out when their patented defense is less than stellar like it was last night. That block by Willie to create the shot clock violation on Notre Dame was huge, a life saver for us. Every player who played last night made contributions, it truly was a complete team win.

I'm superstitious too. I watched the 1st half in our family room and was disappointed. Then I decided to get better luck watching it in our basement. For a long time, that didn't do much good so I said screw it, I'm staying in basement. It worked!
Treyball, I admire your knowledge of the game and learn a lot from you, but damn you're negative! Lol!!!

I' m not superstitious but I have had the same underwear on without washing them since the winning streak began. It's getting lonely with no one here anymore except me and the cat.

I have been wearing the same UK sleep pants since the SEC Tournament started.... Kinda like my "game pants"...... I don't sleep in them, I just wear them and after the game, take em off, fold them up and let them rest till the next game.. So Far, So Good....
Now I will tell you that after the game Who?UK called to discuss our heart rates and he admitted that he almost cost us the game....... Went to the bathroom with 3 minutes to go and realized he was wearing GREEN underwear...... Immediately changed them and, well as you all know. The rest is history.

Your post is eerie similar to what I did, with both the LSU,UGA games. I text my brother and said it's over, i'm calling it at the 9:48 mark of the second half. I really didn't think we'd loose, but since I done it in the other two games kinda felt like I needed to do it this game.

I've got about 9 or 10- schedules taped to the cabinet door above my computer. I always predict each game before the season starts and mark our win/loss record all thru the season. This season I made my predictions (30-1 and 17-1) but I made it thru the non conference schedule without marking the wins and losses. So I decided I would not mark any of them this year until we lost a game. When we didn't lose the game at FL that I predicted I decided I probably wouldn't need to mark them because they would all be wins. So far so good. But I am worried about WI and most likely Duke in the final game. By the way, I still have 3 of the final 4 teams in the TCD pool but I probSt going out early. I am no longer worried about dook, after watching them play today. It became clear to me why Notre Dame beat them twice. Yes, they beat Wiltjer and Company by 14, but it was a 4 point game with just a little time left in game. I think UK can beat them by 10 at least.

Norm, I watched the Duke vs Gonzaga game too and you nailed it as Duke's win over Gonzaga was not indicative of the score. Notre Dame is better than Duke like you pointed out. I believe our biggest test is behind us against Notre Dame with Wisconsin a very close second. We will find out for sure next Saturday and Monday if all goes well.

It's not the 5 guys on the floor in duke jerseys that getcha, it's the 3 in the striped shirts.

It's to the point that you have make your game plan 50% on the opposition and 50% on who the refs are and how they you think they will call the game.
