Just saw the Cincy post game video and their coach and players really doesn't respect us. They said there wasn't really anything UK did but they just didn't make shots. They also said we are beatable. No complements at all which I find classless.

I guess we just have to consider the source but do admit this was not one of our better games.

I sent my sister in law a uc fan that video and told her that it was classless and she responded to me saying "at least our fans don't smell like a garbage dump". Most UC fans thinks we are a bunch of hillbillies.

Cincy's coach blamed the refs, stating that there was a free throw disparity.
He forgot to mention that his players were hacking and fouling more or that the refs gave them a bunch of cheap fouls on the Cats to start the 2nd half.

Our guards only shot 7 of our 28 free throws. That means UC couldn't guard us inside. The coach even said they play physical. Well, when you play physical against talented big men, you're gonna get some fouls called on you. They can play that way in a weak conference and get away with it. Well this is big-time basketball, UC. They need to deal with the fact that they were just an inferior basketball team.
I guess it had nothing to do with UC shooting only 31% from the field, 14% on 3-pointers and 64% from the free throw line.
We made 11 more free throws than UC and won by 13 (although we were up by 19 before giving them some garbage points). They obviously don't teach math at that school.

We held them to 51 points for the entire game, that is not a lot of points plus they shot only 31% from the field and only 24% in the second half when it counted. Add to that they shot a miserable 14% from the 3 point line and did not make a 3 in the entire second half. Probably the worst shooting team we played all year.

I don't care if we don't play them for another 25 years.
THere's a reason why they had a brawl in one of their ball games with Xavier. Matter of fact they canceled the series for a couple of years!

I put the blame on the coaches. Its just like parenting, you tell your players what do do and what to say. They obviously don't do that and the head coach talks like the players.

I PUT THE BLAME ON THE REFS, IF THEY ARE GONNA LET THEM PLAY THAT WAY, U GOTTA SMACK THEM BACK. CAL SAYS IT ALL THE TIME. IF THE REFS ARE LETTING ROUGH PLAY GO ON, THEN BE PHYSICAL.

If you don't play to the way the ref's are calling the game you definitely are going to be pissing into the wind. Good coachs will take a timeout and adjust accordingly.
