Congratulations to Trey Lyles, who was just named SEC Freshman of the Week. Lyles scored 18 points in each of Kentucky’s wins last week. Lyles has become this team’s x-factor, giving the Cats another dimension on offense and a crucial presence on the glass.
This is Trey’s second SEC Freshman of the Week honor and the 11th time a Kentucky freshman has brought home the award.

I wouldn't be surprised if doesn't win it again with a good outing against Georgia!

Trey has really shifted gears in his game, that's for sure!

Trey sure didn't play well at Georgia. It's hard to understand how you can look so good 2 games in a row and then play so poorly. Hopefully he will get back on track against Florida on Saturday as we are going to need him at his best during tournament time.

Saturday's game will be a good one and would bet the Cats will have one of their best games of the season. The crowd will be a good one and on National TV so the players should be all jacked up to be at their best.

We had closer games than Georgia earlier in the year so we can and will bring our energy to our last home game in front of the Big Blue faithful. Cats with a big win on Saturday against Florida.

Everyone has a bad game from time to time. Look at Kyle Wiltjer for example. Averaging up around 20 points per game and scored 4 on Friday. He's 22 years old too. SO it's not about experience either. It could've been a bad matchup for him or just a bad night!
