LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Time is running out on trying to figure out a way to beat Kentucky this season. And after Saturday’s 84-67 win over No. 18 Arkansas, it’s probably time to scratch out one potential formula: taming the Wildcats via track meet.

I wished they would though. I really enjoy watching these boys run up and down the floor!

During half time, I thought that if Arkansas would've just played us straight up on offense and defense, they'd have a much better chance. They took a lot of bad shots, and they practically gave us a ton of open looks by trying to trap and then leaving us with 4-on-3. If Cal wouldn't have slowed things down with about nine minutes to go, we could've scored 110 for a second straight game.

I thought we quit attacking the basket with about 6 minutes to go in the game!

I think Cal didn't think it was necessary. I just hope he doesn't get these boys in the habit of quitting in the last 5 or 10 minutes. Hammer down, I say!

I actually think the refs quit on the game the last 8 minutes. They just wanted to go home. They were not allowing the Arkansas "hand play" all game and in the last 8 minutes they pretty much allowed Arkansas to use their hands to push and shove without a foul call.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Hopefully division 1 NCAA refs have more integrity than giving up on a televised game with that many viewers. If they did give up I am sure they have some sort of grading process that would review their actions and hold them accountable.

Once you get a team down by 30 it's hard to keep that intensity up!

That's why coachs send in the subs and give them a chance to play.
