I say it's how we defend Harrell and if we do a good job on him we win easy.

Question: What do you see as the biggest key to the game?

Tom Leach: Limiting turnovers is probably the biggest key for Kentucky, as those turnovers feed Louisville’s press. The Cards should have lots of trouble scoring against UK in the halfcourt, so it’s imperative that the Cats not give them easy baskets off turnovers.”

Larry Glover: “Making shots is the big key to the game. If UK can make a few 3’s, their chances to win skyrocket. If they can’t, they might be in trouble.”

Dan Rieffer: “Rebounding and free-throw shooting.”

Tyler Thompson: “Shutting down Montrezl Harrell. Harrell is coming into this game with Player of the Year buzz and plenty of smack talk about the Cats, but that hasn’t stopped Kentucky from handling him in the past. Kentucky may not have Randle or Poythress this go around, but they’ve got an arsenal of bigs who can minimize Harrell or get him in foul trouble.

Mark Buerger: “Can Louisville do anything with the UK defense. Kentucky has proven it doesn’t need to score big to beat good teams. So even if their shots aren’t falling they can defend their way to a win. If Louisville can’t figure a way through it and if they start settling for a lot of jumpers, they could be in big trouble.”

Keith Taylor: “The biggest key to the game will be how Kentucky can shoot the ball from the perimeter. If the Wildcats knock down shots from behind the arc, especially early, they will have little trouble. If the Wildcats are missing shots, it could be a closer game and prove to be beneficial for the Cards.”

Jennifer Palumbo: “Rebounding.”

Ashley Scoby: “Shooting. We’ve seen a team (Columbia) that used some unexpected great shooting to put a scare into Kentucky, and if Louisville can shoot well from behind the arc, the Cardinals will make this a lot more interesting. Also, Kentucky’s shooting will be key. For a stretch of games, UK fans were up in arms about the team’s poor shooting from three, so how hot will they get from behind the arc at the Yum Center?”

Ryan Lemond: “Both teams are great defensively. Both teams also seem to be streaky shooters. I just think UK can have more success on the offensive end than U of L because UK just has too many weapons. U of L would have to get career games from Jones, Rozier and Blackshear against the best defense in the country to be successful. I just don’t think that is going to happen. However, UK has a weapon at every position, and 2 weapons at some positions. That’s just too hard for any team to stop.”
