Andrew Harrison went down with 74 seconds left in the game with an ugly elbow injury.

I'd say he hyper-extended the ligaments in that elbow. There's no doubt when you watch the replay of that, it had to hurt!

It hurt my arm just watching the replay of it. I was afraid he might have a broken bone or torn muscle.

They practiced as a team today but haven't heard anything as to the condition of his arm!

This article expects Andrew to play today. I think the big question is going to be is, how good will he be able to play? When you hyper extend your shooting arm it has a effect on releasing your shot and even passing the ball. How much it effects him, we will just have to wait and see.

Coach just told me to do whatever I can,” Harrison, who had seven points, five assists, five rebounds and six turnovers Friday, said.

Kentucky coach John Calipari indicated initially that he thought Harrison, who leads UK in assists with 134 and is a 76.6 percent free throw shooter, would play. However, he said UK would also be prepared to play without him even though Andrew Harrison joked he would “borrow someone else’s arm” so he could play.

“What if he is 70 percent and I see it and say we can’t with this guy 70 percent and we have to win without you. If he can play, he will play,” Calipari said. “We will prepare today as though he is not. I told him to do whatever he wanted in practice.”

If Harrison can’t start or play, Calipari said it is not a given that he will turn to senior point guard Jarrod Polson, who averages about eight minutes per game.

“I don’t know we will do it,” Calipari said. “We may have Aaron start at point guard.”

Hawkins may have to play a lot today, not because of Andrew being injured, but because IMO he is the only on ball defender capable of keeping Van Fleet out of the lane, which is a must for UK to have a chance to win today.

Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.
