He is going to be a big part of the team next year as you can never have to many shooters.

UK signee Devin Booker made the five-hour trip from his Mississippi hometown to Atlanta on Friday to see the Wildcats defeat Louisiana State in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament.

Booker posted several photos from the game, tweeted his appreciation for the many UK fans in attendance and said it was the “best game” he’d seen the Cats play all season.

His father — former Missouri star Melvin Booker — also made the trip to represent his Tigers, who lost to top-seeded Florida earlier in the day.

I'm not even sure why we're recruiting this guy! I could care less how good a shot he is. His basketball IQ has to very low as he said that Georgia was going to beat us today.

Handy, you've got the wrong Booker. Announcer Barry Booker was the one who said we'd lose to Georgia.
