I thought there was a lot of home cooking. Lots of bad calls. But the cats still played hard, and will learn from this loss.
We can get redemption at Rupp.
By the way Cal's buddy Roger Ayers was one of the refs, whom has called 3 technical on Cal. [ 01-15-2014, 12:13 AM: Message edited by: eleem ]

I though there were inconsistent calls both ways, but UK got the majority of them in OT.
Inconsistent calls = poorly officiated because all players and coaches want is consistent calls from the officials. [ 01-15-2014, 12:13 AM: Message edited by: Trey Ball ]
-------------------- Wife's Mad. Told me we never talk anymore. And just last nite while watching super bowl told her 2 or 3 times to get me a coke and popcorn. Also told her not to forget to take out trash in the morning. Ain't that something. Also told me I was too indecisive. Can't figure out what to do about that. One nice thing I guess. She called me a pro crastinator. Don't know what a crastinator is but I guess I'm a good one for her to call me a pro. Gonna wait til tomorrow to look that up though. I love her but somrtimes can't help but thinking I should have told uncle Junior to keep his coon hound pup and stevens double barrel and also his youngest daughter.

Bad calls on both sides. The call on Polson was the absolute worst to me......looked as if he was the first one to the rebound. And wasn't Harrison pushed into the backcourt? [ 01-15-2014, 12:23 AM: Message edited by: jerseycat ]

Harrison's over and back was horrible. So was the Young's last foul. It also seemed like that it often took 3 or 4 fouls to actually call one committed against Randle.
There was a lot of ticky-tack fouls while hard fouls did not get called.

There were 60 total fouls and 81 free throws shot...that is insane. These freshman are streaky and need to get into a rhythm, but to stop play to shoot 81 free throws? I am really happy it was as close as it was, with UK's poor free throw shooting and that environment I think they handled it all well. I guarantee they learned from the game though and will continue to improve.
