Montrezl Harrell and Julius Mays are two names out there who could get some PT. Harrell is the 6-7 big man who is somewhat underrated and would replace Bennett pretty well. Looking at his video he appears to be a good inside mand and can take it hard to the basket in traffic. Mays is the transfer from Wright State who could take some PT at the guard position. I don't think Cal has closed the door on recruiting yet. We got knocked down to #2 when Parker went west but we still have a shot at going back to #1 with a couple pickups like these guys.

Please dont get me wrong here when I say this as I LOVE getting the best of the best, however I am also a huge proponenet of getting kids that arent high on the radar and will stick around for 3-4 years. Look at what Miller did for this team. Senior leadership and tourney experience is invaluable when you recruit the best of the best one and done players. I really am not sad that we didnt Bennett as he Noel, Goodwin, Polythress, and Harrow all might be gone after next year and maybe Kyle. If we can get a few kids that will stay multiple years that will be the rock to our foundation of greatness.

I agree you have to have a mix. Right now we have some great recruits but we are very thin on the support troops. I believe Mays will be a senior and could provide some leadership. Harrell is not in the top tier but he is getting better and could be around 2-3 years. I think it would be great if we could get those two.

Cal is quiet right now but you can bet he is working on getting some help for next seasons team and you can take that to the bank.
