He is going to be a good one for the Cats for years to come.
For C.J. Conrad, it has been a good first few months at the University of Kentucky.
“Things are going very good. Not just football-wise, but academically and in the weight room, too,” said Conrad, a tight end who graduated from high school in December and enrolled at UK in January. “It has been a transition, but I think I am doing okay so far.”
Other thinks the 6-4, 245-pound freshman from LaGrange, Ohio, is doing far better than okay. He knows plenty about former UK tight end Jacob Tamme, who recently signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Falcons, and could be the same type explosive, athletic tight end that Tamme was at UK — and Kentucky has not had since his departure.

Lots of huge drops by the TE position, last season. It was ridiculous.
From all reports, Mr. Conrad is the real deal.

The coaching staff has to upgrade the tight end position and Conrad should help do that.
