She's walking doing laps in the hall, sitting in a chair not laying in the bed. Eating and using the restroom ahead of schedule. -------------------- Bleeding Blue in south Alabama. Cindy is really sore. She has six drains coming out of her. It took 3 nurses to give her a bath this morning but they say I shouldn't have any trouble yeah right. The great news is the Dr says according to the CT scan, no cancer. Thanks for all your support. Please keep praying. -------------------- Bleeding Blue in south Alabama. The Doctor just told my wife that she was cancer free. I want to thank each of you for all the support and prayers. When I would read your words of encouragement it would lift my spirits. God said "yes" to may of our prayers. I received some other good news yesterday. A man who came to give me some physical therapy asked me if I was Dr. Holloway. He told me that I had sutured a laceration on his forehead when he was 3 years old. That occurred in 1971 when I first moved to Hartselle, Alabama, when I was working in an emergency room in Pineview Hospital. You're wife is a trooper! Glad she's cancer free. Secondly, I wanna tell you a little something about those drain port reservoirs that may help you to better prepare and avoid what happened to me. If you're eating right now then don't read this as it's not a pleasant story. When my wife went thru this, I would monitor the (we'll just call it) liquid that comes out of the drains and into the reservoirs and I'd have to empty the reservoirs for her when they got full. Well, you know they work by suction. One time I was opening the spout on the reservoir and the tomato soup-like liquid burst out all over my face - it was like someone sneezing in your face. I was careful to hold the drains and release them slowly, after I seen it splatter a nurse after surgery. -------------------- Bleeding Blue in south Alabama.
