Under 4 to, don't know to be impressed, disappointed, happy, angry, or what. Just a very strange college basketball game.

I am in shock. I watched the first half, and now I can happily watch the 2nd half. Can't figure this team out.

I loved our Heart and effort! Great win! The look on Cal's face at the end was priceless.

The games we've lost, where we shoot about 25%, is just puzzling. The team we saw tonight is the team I expected all year. There were games this year where we couldn't make layups, and then we come out tonight and shoot the ball well. I don't understand the inconsistency from one game to the next.

We just have a bunch of good players who get hot and play over their heads once in a while. Who knows, they may one day be a better team who can play consistent bb. ![[Eek!]](eek.gif) [ 01-31-2026, 11:04 PM: Message edited by: Bama Cat ]

I can’t figure this team out. They are an enema to me. [ 02-01-2026, 09:49 AM: Message edited by: handycat ]

I have to admit I broke down and watched the second half. I'll repeat for those who missed it. When you make your shots you win, otherwise you look like crap. I thought I would call them the Unscoreables but that may not work because they do get lucky once in a while. You know we only lose 2 players off this roster due to graduation but there is no telling how many will transfer. Maybe we don't have to sign many new guys.

Bama Cat, we gotta sign a couple of point guards and a shooting guard as well as a good strong forward to replace Dioubate. That’s assuming that Chandler, Moreno, Garrison, Jelavic, Noah and possibly Lowe and Williams all stay.

I don't see Chandler, Moreno or Noah going anywhere, and i'd love to see Lowe and Williams stay.

I don’t mind Lowe staying but we have to get more PGs. I won’t identify who I’d like to see leave but think a good number should return.

Then I'll say it.
I don't mind if Garrison leaves. He has his moments, but he seems to be far more detrimental than helpful this year.
Dioubate is another one. I'd like to see him stay, but contribute as a bench player. I don't think he's good enough to earn 30 minutes per game at UK.

We only have 2 guys graduating, Ohway and Aberdeen. We have 2 big guys who have been red shirted so far and they need to beef up before next year, Hawthorne and Potter. Not so sure they will ever become a threat in our lineup but unless they transfer they will be available next year. We have Jasper at PG for next year and Lowe back ???? so we probably only need to pick up 1 more good PG. What we will need is a couple knock down shooters, at thhe 2,3 or 4.

I have to confess, I've watched the last 2 games in a hotel room. THe Ark game I watched at the Holiday Inn in Northern KY by the Airport. The OK game I watched at the Beach House Hotel by Hilton in Lauderdale Florida!
The temps were a little warmer in Florida than they were in KY!
Happy for the outcome of both games.
Must confess that pregame of Ark I figured we'd lose by double digits. The Crow tasted pretty good actually!

I'm definitely eating crow. One thing this team has to do. Quit missing layups and one footers.
