From the link.

“ Within a private discord chat, there’s buzz regarding an NIL pledge by Jones to help Calipari recruit former UK commits to Fayetteville. The alleged proposal is reportedly “double” the NIL money that they were offered to sign with Kentucky in order to flip their commitments to Arkansas.”

Something has to be done about NIL. IMO, it will be the ruin of college athletics.

Sadly, this is the door that has been opened by the NIL. College football is already suffering greatly from this.

Without structured regulations and independent oversight this will become the norm rather than the exception.

This will evolve in my opinion much like we see in major league baseball right now, "small market" schools will not stand a chance at getting, and keeping, premium players. Combine the NIL with the portal and college sports will be the image of professional sports without a draft process, those who have will continue to get.
