Hey guys, so it has been difficult for me to watch this team this year. From top to bottom, three Seven Footers, Plus 3 Really good Shooting Guards Sheppard and Dillingham you would think this team would be gearing up fine tuning the team getting ready for the upcoming Tourneys. Instead, I see a lack luster almost non existant defense. I see Bradshaw (supposed to be ranked high out of college, just look like he really doesn't have a clue out there). I see turnovers after turnovers, nobody taking care of the ball. I personally don't us getting out of the Sweet 16 and that is really stretching it for me. Can we? IDK, I haven't really seen us put 6 games of great basketball together. I saw us drop 3 games when we scored 90+ points. Are the players just going through the motion? Is it solely on the shoulders of Coach Cal? What are his assistants doing? There are a lot of head scratching questions to this team. Right now, I see us going out early in the Tourney.

If things stay as is, and Cal doesn't make some adjustments on defense we will be out the first weekend, AGAIN.

That's what I'm figuring too. Depending on who we get in the forst round, we could be gone if they can defend us. Otherwise, we will probably lose the second game.

I think our defense and our rebounding looked a lot better in the Ole Miss Game.

It was better for sure. However, the inside guys had a good match-up because the other posts were similar to us. They weren't bangers down low that were gonna muscle us inside. Those are the guys we will really struggle with. It's in those games that Cal is gonna have to have a game plan to double the post, and mix in some zone. And it has to be worked on the week before the game. He can't just throw it in the day before and expect it to work.
